If you usually travel using the same routes, it is cheaper to purchase a multi-journey ticket, which offers 6 journeys for the price of 5.

The short-journey fare is applied to FART, PostBus, TPL and AMSA routes.

What else do you need to know?

  • The ticket is valid between bus stops on urban bus routes
  • The ticket is valid for 30 minutes and for a single journey only
  • The ticket is valid for up to 4 stops, but can be extended to 6 stops, provided that the journey does not exceed 2km
  • The fare is the same for the routes where the journey to the destination and the journey back have a different number of stops
  • Short-journey travelcards are also accepted on regional routes if the same route as the urban routes is used and the timetable allows the passenger to get on and off within the aforesaid time limit
  • Short-journey travelcards cannot be used for travel by train
