The introduction of the new Arcobaleno Integrated Fare completed the process to harmonise the fare system. This harmonisation was aimed at:

  • increasing the use of public transport
  • making the use of public transport easier, improving the transport network (which has already improved considerably in recent years due to the coordination of public transport timetables)
  • simplifying the sale of tickets. All sales staff will be aware of the same fares and the same rules, which will be presented to the customer as a whole and the information requested will be more consistent and straightforward
  • simplifying information
  • completing the development of the public transport on offer as planned over recent years (city transport, regional transport, TILO trains)
