Junior Travelcard and Children’s Co-Travelcard

The Junior Travelcard and the Children’s Co-Travelcard are intended for families with children who want to show their children the beauty spots of Switzerland at an attractive price for a period of a year.

Junior Travelcard and Children’s Co-Travelcard

If you frequently take your children on public transport, the Junior Travelcard or the Children’s Co-Travelcard is the right choice for you.
With the Junior Travelcard or the Children’s Co-Travelcard for CHF 30, children aged from 6 years up to their 16th birthday can travel free of charge for a period of a year throughout Switzerland, accompanied by a parent or adult (aged 16 or more). The parent or adult must hold a valid ticket.

You will find further information on the relevant SBB web page

Zone and time system

To make it easier to use public transport, the Arcobaleno integrated fare network utilises a zone and time system. This means that all modes of transport such as buses, trains, boats and funiculars can be used within the selected zones and validity period of the ticket. There are no time restrictions for weekly, monthly and annual travelcards.

Further information

The Junior Travelcard is free from the third child. When obtaining the free Junior Travelcard the other two Junior Travelcards must be shown. The Junior Travelcard is issued in duplicate. With the Children’s Co-Travelcard a maximum of four children with a valid Children’s Co-Travelcard can travel with each accompanying adult. When purchasing the Children’s Co-Travelcard, the accompanying person as well as the child travelling must be indicated.
