The Ape card is a payment method for the purchase of all Arcobaleno tickets. The Ape card allows you to pay for your ticket without cash or credit card at Arcobaleno ticket machines and on buses equipped with cash machines.

As of September 1st, 2025, Ape cards can no longer be topped up nor purchased. Payment and validation of already charged tickets remain in function. Starting June 1st, 2026, Ape cards will no longer be in use.
Please use the credit available on your Ape card as a means of payment for the purchase of the following Arcobaleno tickets:
Purchase at ticket machines and counters (except for SBB)
- Single ticket
- Day Pass
- Zone upgrade
- Class upgrade
Purchase at counters (except for SBB)
- Single ticket
- Multiple-journey ticket in paper form
- Day Pass
- Multiple day pass
- Group ticket
- Day pass for groups
- Zone upgrade
- Class upgrade
- Multiple class upgrade in paper form
