Cross-border tickets and travelcards allow to travel from Italy to Switzerland across borders under a single transport document covering all means of transport belonging to the Rainbow Tariff Community and Trenord regional and suburban trains. The prices of these transport tickets are calculated by adding the price of the Rainbow zones (for the Swiss leg) to the Italian kilometric fares (for the Lombardy leg).
